Hailing from China, Zhang Weili prepares for her bouts at Black Tiger Fight Club and Fight Ready. Known as "Magnum," the former two-time strawweight champion has also competed at flyweight, securing historical status as the first UFC champion from her nation. Her combat foundation is rooted in Sanda and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which she uses to showcase strong striking and grappling abilities.

Zhang enters the event with a 6-2-0 record and a five-fight win streak. This run began with a spinning backfist knockout of Joanna Jędrzejczyk and a rear-naked choke submission over Carla Esparza. Since then, she has earned three consecutive unanimous decision victories, defeating Amanda Lemos, Yan Xiaonan, and most recently, Tatiana Suarez in February 2025.
