KAI KAMAKA III

Hailing from Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Kai Kamaka III is an orthodox fighter who competes in the UFC's lightweight class. Under the guidance of 808 Fight Factory and Xtreme Couture, "The Fighting Hawaiian" built his combat foundation through childhood martial arts and high school wrestling. Before returning to the UFC, he earned key victories under the promotional banners of Bellator MMA and the Professional Fighters League.

Heading into UFC 329, Kamaka boasts an overall record of 17-7-1. His recent five-fight stretch began with a stoppage of Joshua Weems and a decision over Sitik Muduev, followed by a split decision defeat against Diego Brandão. He rebounded from that loss to secure a knockout against Michel da Cruz Lima and most recently grabbed a split decision victory over Dakota Hope.
