ZACHARY REESE

Hailing from Houston, Texas, Zachary Reese is an American middleweight who sharpens his skills at the WAR Training Center in Shiner. Competing from an orthodox stance, the fighter known as "Savage" built a perfect five-and-zero run on the regional scene before making his transition to the UFC. His well-rounded approach incorporates both striking and submission grappling, which has helped him earn notable career victories over Julian Marquez and Jackson McVey.

Prior to his matchup at UFC 329, Reese accumulated a professional record of ten victories, three defeats, and one no contest. His recent stretch of activity began with a knockout defeat against Azamat Bekoev, followed by a decision victory over Duško Todorović. After his bout with Sedriques Dumas ended in a no contest due to an accidental groin strike, Reese rebounded to submit Jackson McVey. However, he enters his next appearance on the heels of a split decision loss to Michel Pereira.
