BRANDON ROYVAL

American flyweight competitor Brandon Royval developed his mixed martial arts foundation in Colorado, training in Muay Thai and Brazilian jiu-jitsu from a young age. Now representing the Factory X camp, the switch-stance fighter has earned a black belt in jiu-jitsu and built a reputation as a highly versatile athlete. Before joining the UFC, he sharpened his dynamic skills across multiple promotions, eventually establishing himself as a premier threat in his weight class with notable victories like a guillotine choke victory over Matt Schnell and a knockout of Matheus Nicolau.

Entering UFC 329 with a professional record of sixteen wins and eight defeats, Royval has experienced a challenging but successful run in his recent outings. After falling short in a unanimous decision championship bout against Alexandre Pantoja, he bounced back with consecutive split decision victories. He first outpointed Brandon Moreno in early 2024, and most recently secured a triumph over Tatsuro Taira later that same year.
