FARÈS ZIAM

Hailing from France, Farès Ziam transitioned into professional mixed martial arts in 2014 following a background in kickboxing. He honed his skills at Sanford MMA while competing within the lightweight division. Before entering the octagon, the Frenchman captured championship titles in both LFC and HIT. Since his 2019 promotional debut, he built his reputation by securing significant wins against competitors such as Mike Davis and Matt Frevola.

Entering his appearance at UFC 329, Ziam holds an overall professional record of 18-5-0. His recent performances have been mixed, starting with a split decision victory over Claudio Puelles and a knockout win against Matt Frevola. He followed those with a unanimous decision triumph over Mike Davis and a technical knockout finish of Nazim Sadykhov, before suffering a unanimous decision loss to Tom Nolan in June 2026.
