DANIEL RODRIGUEZ

Hailing from Alhambra, California, American welterweight Daniel Rodriguez began his professional mixed martial arts journey in 2015. Training out of BMF Ranch and Syndicate MMA, the southpaw competitor is known for his boxing-based striking style. Before joining the UFC, "D-Rod" built his resume in promotions such as Bellator and Combate Americas, and he captured the SMASH Global Welterweight Championship.

Entering UFC 329 with a professional record of 16-5-0, Rodriguez is currently on a three-fight winning streak. His recent run began with a split decision victory over Alex Morono, followed by a TKO win against Santiago Ponzinibbio, and most recently, a unanimous decision over Kevin Holland. This momentum follows consecutive defeats to Ian Machado Garry and Kelvin Gastelum.
