CHARLES JOHNSON

American flyweight Charles "InnerG" Johnson started his professional fighting career in 2016. Representing Murcielago MMA, the aggressive competitor captured the Legacy Fighting Alliance flyweight title before transitioning to the UFC, where his exciting style earned him multiple performance bonuses.

Entering UFC 329 with an overall record of 8-7-0, Johnson has experienced an alternating stretch of results. In 2025, he suffered a unanimous decision defeat to Ramazan Temirov but bounced back with a knockout punch against Lone'er Kavanagh. The following year, Johnson suffered a technical knockout loss to Alex Perez, secured a split decision victory over Bruno Gustavo da Silva, and most recently fell to Asu Almabayev via a Suloev stretch submission in June 2026.
