BEKZAT ALMAKHAN

Hailing from Akzhar, Kazakhstan, orthodox bantamweight Bekzat Almakhan trains out of DDV Team 777. The Turan Warrior built his combat foundation in boxing and karate prior to transitioning into mixed martial arts. In his professional career, he has secured key victories, including a stoppage of Yan Ferraz and a notable first-round knockout of Brad Katona.

Entering UFC 329 with a professional record of 10-4-0, Almakhan has experienced mixed results in his recent outings. After a decision defeat against Umar Nurmagomedov in early 2024, he rebounded with his knockout of Katona in May 2025. However, he approaches the July 2026 event on a two-fight skid, having dropped consecutive unanimous decisions to Aleksandre Topuria and Jean Matsumoto.
