ALEXANDER HERNANDEZ

Representing the United States, Alexander Hernandez has navigated both the lightweight and featherweight divisions throughout his professional mixed martial arts tenure. He previously secured the Hero FC Lightweight Championship during his rise through the regional circuit before transitioning to the world stage. Now training out of Factory X, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt made an immediate impact upon his organizational debut by stopping Beneil Dariush. Over the course of his extensive career, he has garnered multiple performance bonuses for his showings against notable opponents including Donald Cerrone and Chris Gruetzemacher.

Heading into this matchup at UFC 329, Hernandez maintains an overall professional record of 18-9-0. His recent performances demonstrate a mixed sequence of results. He enters the cage following a unanimous decision loss to Rafa Garcia in April 2026. Prior to that setback, he enjoyed a productive stretch in 2025, securing consecutive technical knockout victories over Carlos Diego Ferreira and Chase Hooper, as well as a unanimous decision win against Kurt Holobaugh. This follows his split decision victory over Austin Hubbard in late 2024.
