ABUSUPIYAN MAGOMEDOV

Born in Argun, Russia, Russian and German middleweight Abusupiyan Magomedov honed his wrestling and kickboxing skills from childhood. He embarked on his professional MMA career at age twenty, competing in regional promotions and the PFL before reaching the UFC. Training out of UFD Gym, the switch-stance competitor developed a well-rounded combat style.

Magomedov brings an 11-8-1 record into his matchup at UFC 329 on July 11, 2026. His recent five-fight run began with a decision loss to Caio Borralho, which he answered with three consecutive victories: a decision over Warlley Alves, an arm-triangle choke submission of Brunno Ferreira, and a decision win against Michel Pereira. Most recently in October 2025, he was submitted by Joe Pyfer via a face crank.
