CONOR MCGREGOR

An Irish southpaw striker from Dublin, Conor McGregor began his professional career in 2008, preparing under coach John Kavanagh at SBG Ireland. He became the first athlete to simultaneously hold UFC titles in two weight classes, ruling both the featherweight and lightweight divisions. McGregor's notable achievements include his 2015 victory over Jose Aldo, which stands as the fastest finish in the history of UFC title bouts.

Holding a 5-3-0 record before UFC 300, McGregor recently suffered consecutive 2021 technical knockout losses to Dustin Poirier, first by punches in January and then via doctor stoppage in July. This followed a 2018 neck crank submission defeat against Khabib Nurmagomedov. Previously, he secured a technical knockout over Eddie Alvarez and a majority decision against Nate Diaz in late 2016.
