BRANDON ROYVAL

American flyweight Brandon Royval, nicknamed "Raw Dawg," represents Denver, Colorado, and trains out of Factory X. A versatile fighter who utilizes a switch stance, Royval is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt known for combining dangerous grappling with effective striking. Before joining the UFC, he captured the Legacy Fighting Alliance flyweight title, and he later claimed notable stoppage victories over Kai Kara-France and Tim Elliott.

Heading into UFC 300: Pereira vs. Hill, Royval holds a 4-3-0 pre-event record. His recent stretch includes a split decision win over Rogério Bontorin and a guillotine choke submission of Matt Schnell. He then knocked out Matheus Nicolau with a knee and elbows. Following a unanimous decision loss to Alexandre Pantoja, he rebounded in his last fight before the event by securing a split decision victory against Brandon Moreno.
