BEKZAT ALMAKHAN

Born in 1997 in Akzhar, Kazakhstan, bantamweight competitor Bekzat Almakhan began his professional mixed martial arts career in 2018. The orthodox striker, nicknamed "Turan Warrior," refines his skills with DDV Team 777. Before turning professional, Almakhan trained in both boxing and karate, developing a stand-up style that has allowed him to earn most of his victories by knockout.

Heading into the UFC 300 event on April 13, 2024, Almakhan carried a professional record of 5-3-0. He previously put together a four-fight winning streak, which included technical knockout victories over Jenilton Matos and Yan Ferraz, a knockout of Mateus Rodrigues Gloria, and a decision win against Mauro Mastromarini. However, in his most recent appearance before the event on March 2, 2024, Almakhan suffered a unanimous decision defeat to Umar Nurmagomedov.
