Bassil Hafez is an American lightweight competitor who fights out of an orthodox stance. Training with American Top Team, he built a solid reputation for his striking skills. After transitioning from a successful run as an amateur into the professional ranks, he earned several notable victories.
Entering UFC 300 with a record of 6-4-0, Hafez has alternated results over his last five bouts. In 2023, he secured a TKO against Kevin Lee and a split decision win over Drew Dober, but suffered a unanimous decision loss to Jalin Turner and a knockout defeat against Mike Davis. Most recently, on January 20, 2024, he rebounded with an armbar submission victory against Alex Oliveira.
