Representing Italy, flyweight competitor Alessandro Costa trains out of Evolve MMA. Fighting from an orthodox stance, the well-rounded mixed martial artist is recognized for his aggressive style and striking skills. Prior to his appearance at UFC 300, he secured significant victories against several ranked adversaries in the division.
Costa entered the event with a professional record of five wins and three losses. His recent stretch began with a unanimous decision defeat to Alex Perez in July 2023, followed by a technical knockout victory using knees against Matiush Gomes and an armbar submission win over Cory Sandhagen.
