ABUSUPIYAN MAGOMEDOV

Argun, Russia, is the birthplace of middleweight competitor Abusupiyan Magomedov, who began wrestling as a child before moving to Germany at age fifteen. Representing UFD Gym, the grappling specialist also built his career in Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki and the Professional Fighters League. He earned various victories by knockout and submission, including a triumphant performance in his first UFC appearance.

Prior to UFC 300: Pereira vs. Hill, Magomedov holds a pre-event record of 1-3-0. His promotional run includes an initial TKO win against Dustin Stoltzfus using a front kick and punches. Since then, he dropped a match to Sean Strickland via TKO from punches, and most recently lost to Caio Borralho by unanimous decision.
