YAN XIAONAN

Yan Xiaonan represents China in the strawweight division, having started her professional journey in 2009. A practitioner of Sanda, she holds the distinction of being the first female athlete from her country to join the promotion. Throughout her tenure, she has utilized a high-volume striking approach to earn significant triumphs against opponents such as Mackenzie Dern and Jéssica Andrade. She maintains affiliations with Team Alpha Male, Extreme Sanda, and China Top Team to support her training.

Heading into this October 2023 contest, she carries an overall professional ledger of 18-3 with one no-contest. Her current trajectory features back-to-back victories, including a knockout of Andrade this past May and a majority decision over Dern last October. Prior to those successes, she experienced consecutive setbacks against Marina Rodriguez and Carla Esparza, following a 2020 unanimous decision win against Cláudia Gadelha.
