BRANDON ROYVAL

Denver-born flyweight Brandon Royval began training in jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai at age fifteen. Fighting out of the Factory X camp, the southpaw competitor turned professional in 2012 and eventually captured the LFA Flyweight Championship. Known for an exciting, submission-focused grappling style, he has secured multiple post-fight bonuses in his career.

Entering his October 14, 2023 bout, Royval carries a 5-3 record. His early UFC run featured consecutive losses, falling to Brandon Moreno by TKO and Alexandre Pantoja via rear-naked choke. However, he rebounded with three straight wins: a split decision over Rogério Bontorin, a guillotine choke submission against Matt Schnell, and a knockout of Matheus Nicolau using a knee and elbows.
