KING GREEN

An American competitor from San Bernardino, California, King Green began his professional career in 2008 and competes in the UFC lightweight division. Fighting from an orthodox stance out of Pinnacle MMA, he is recognized for a boxing-heavy style and effective defense against takedowns. He previously held both the junior welterweight and lightweight championships in King of the Cage.

Holding a 5-4-0 record ahead of the UFC Fight Night on October 14, 2023, Green experienced mixed results in his preceding bouts. He suffered a TKO defeat against Islam Makhachev and was knocked out by Drew Dober, followed by a no-contest against Jared Gordon due to an accidental head clash. Green subsequently won by technical submission using an arm-triangle choke against Tony Ferguson, and defeated Grant Dawson via a knockout from punches.
