ALATENG HEILI

Alateng Heili is a Chinese competitor representing the bantamweight class. He began his path in combat sports through childhood wrestling training, eventually moving into professional mixed martial arts in 2013. Before signing with the UFC in 2019, he sharpened his craft within Asian organizations like Road FC. The fighter divides his training time between Fight Ready and the UFC Performance Institute in Shanghai. Throughout his career, he has utilized his freestyle wrestling base to earn victories via various methods, including both submissions and knockouts.

Entering his October 2023 bout, Heili holds an overall professional record of 16-8-2. His most recent performances demonstrate a period of positive momentum. He secured a unanimous decision victory over Chad Anheliger in September 2022, following a first-round knockout of Kevin Croom earlier that year. Prior to those wins, he fought to a draw against Gustavo Lopez in 2021. This stretch followed a unanimous decision defeat to Casey Kenney in 2020 and a split decision win against Ryan Benoit in late 2019.
