The Chinese fighter launched her professional journey in 2013 and gained recognition within Kunlun Fight. Representing Black Tiger Fight Club, Fight Ready, and Bangtao Muay Thai & MMA, she secured status as the initial athlete from her nation to capture a UFC championship. A switch-stance competitor, she built a resume defined by high-intensity striking during her tenure as a two-time strawweight titleholder. After establishing herself as a formidable force in her original weight class, she transitioned to the flyweight division toward the end of 2025 to pursue further championship honors.

Entering the event, she holds a career record of 26-4-0. Her most recent appearance was a unanimous decision loss against Valentina Shevchenko in November 2025.
