MASON JONES

Welsh lightweight competitor Mason "The Dragon" Jones represents Celtic Pride MMA and Pedro Bessa BJJ. He began his martial arts journey with kickboxing at age six, later incorporating boxing, judo, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu into his skillset. Before signing with the UFC, Jones established his credentials by capturing both the lightweight and welterweight championships in the Cage Warriors promotion.

Heading into UFC Fight Night: Hernandez vs. Rodrigues on August 22, 2026, Jones brings an 18-2 record with one no-contest. He enters the event with five consecutive victories, most recently securing a unanimous decision against Axel Sola. Prior to that, he earned a TKO via elbows over Bolaji Oki and decision wins against Jeremy Stephens and Michael Pagani, following a TKO of Bryce Logan using punches and knees.
