KENNEDY NZECHUKWU

Nigerian heavyweight Kennedy Nzechukwu immigrated to the United States in 2010. Five years later, the orthodox competitor began training at Fortis MMA, launching his professional career in 2016. Competing in the UFC, the American Savage has secured wins by knockout and submission while earning multiple post-fight performance bonuses.

Prior to UFC Fight Night: Hernandez vs. Rodrigues, Nzechukwu holds a 14-6-1 record. His recent stretch began with a split decision loss to Ovince Saint Preux, followed by consecutive TKO victories against Chris Barnett and Łukasz Brzeski. He then suffered a submission defeat to Valter Walker and fought to a unanimous draw against Marcus Buchecha.
