YAZMIN JAUREGUI

Mexican strawweight Yazmin Jauregui fights out of Entram Gym and has been a professional since 2018. During her rise, she captured the UWC Women’s Strawweight title and emerged as the winner of the 2021 Combate Global: Last Latina Standing event. Now competing in the UFC, she has built a reputation as a dangerous striker by defeating opponents such as Sam Hughes, Istela Nunes, and Iasmin Lucindo, often relying on her ability to finish fights with knockouts.

Holding a career record of 11-2-0, Jauregui’s most recent outing ended in a technical submission defeat to Ketlen Souza on September 14, 2024. Before that loss, she secured a unanimous decision victory over Sam Hughes in early 2024. Her professional history also features a knockout defeat to Denise Gomes in July 2023, which occurred shortly after she put together a pair of back-to-back wins during 2022.
