Vanessa Demopoulos is an American professional athlete competing in the UFC strawweight division. She honed her skills at Fight Ready and Ronin Training Center, developing a grappling-focused approach rooted in her Brazilian jiu-jitsu training. Before reaching the global stage, she captured the Legacy Fighting Alliance strawweight title by defeating Sam Hughes in 2020. Throughout her tenure in the promotion, she has secured victories over several established opponents, including Kanako Murata, Silvana Gómez Juárez, and Emily Ducote.
Entering this contest with an overall record of 11-8-0, Demopoulos seeks to regain momentum. Her performance in recent outings has been inconsistent, as she enters off back-to-back losses against Talita Alencar and Jaqueline Amorim. Prior to those setbacks, she earned a split decision win over Emily Ducote and a unanimous decision victory against Kanako Murata.
