DEIVESON FIGUEIREDO

Hailing from Brazil, Deiveson Figueiredo established himself as a prominent competitor within the flyweight and bantamweight ranks. This former two-time titleholder at 125 pounds gained recognition for his potent finishing ability and an intense offensive approach, bolstered by his technical foundation in capoeira and folk wrestling. After concluding a renowned series of bouts against Brandon Moreno, he transitioned into the bantamweight class during 2023. He currently conducts his training sessions at the Fight Ready facility.

Entering this contest with a professional resume of twenty-five victories, seven defeats, and one draw, he arrives following a difficult sequence of results. His most recent appearance ended in a submission loss to Song Yadong this past May, preceded by a unanimous decision defeat against Umar Nurmagomedov. Previously, he earned a narrow split decision win over Montel Jackson, but suffered losses to both Cory Sandhagen and Petr Yan.
