CODY DURDEN

Hailing from Georgia, this American athlete launched his professional mixed martial arts journey in 2016. A background in competitive high school wrestling fueled his transition to the cage, where he eventually captured the Valor Fighting Challenge bantamweight championship. Now operating out of American Top Team Gwinnett, the southpaw has navigated both the flyweight and bantamweight divisions within the UFC. Throughout his tenure, he has integrated boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu into his wrestling base to secure significant victories against competitors like Matt Schnell and Jake Hadley, while also earning a Performance of the Night bonus.

Entering the event with a career record of 18-11-1, he recently experienced a challenging stretch inside the octagon. His most recent appearance resulted in a submission defeat to Alessandro Costa in July 2026. Prior to that, he earned a unanimous decision victory over Jafel Filho in April 2026. This win interrupted a three-fight skid that included a March 2026 decision loss to Nyamjargal Tumendemberel, a submission setback against Allan Nascimento in late 2025, and a knockout loss to Jose Ochoa earlier that summer.
