Cody Brundage is an American middleweight competitor who trains out of Factory X. A former Newberry College wrestler, he leverages his background on the mat to succeed in mixed martial arts. Before joining the UFC, he captured titles in both the middleweight and light heavyweight weight classes for Lights Out Championship. Throughout his tenure in the promotion, he has secured Performance of the Night bonuses for his wins against Zachary Reese and Dalcha Lungiambula.
The orthodox fighter enters this event holding a professional record of 12-9-1 with one no contest. His most recent appearance resulted in a technical knockout victory against Andre Petroski in May 2026. Prior to that win, he endured a three-fight skid featuring a split decision loss to Donte Johnson, a stoppage defeat versus Cameron Rowston, and a split decision loss to Eric McConico.
