JUNG CHAN-SUNG

Hailing from South Korea, Jung Chan-sung competed within the featherweight ranks while training out of his own dedicated gym. An orthodox fighter with a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, he built a reputation for a high-intensity approach that produced notable victories over competitors like Frankie Edgar. His professional journey featured a pair of attempts at claiming the featherweight championship title, during which he achieved the inaugural Twister submission in promotional history.

Entering his appearance at this event with an overall professional record of seventeen wins and eight losses, his recent performance ledger reflects a challenging stretch of competition. Following a unanimous decision victory against Dan Ige, he experienced back-to-back setbacks against Brian Ortega and Alexander Volkanovski. His most recent outing resulted in a knockout defeat at the hands of Max Holloway.
