Training with the Bulgarian Top Team under coaches Daniel Woirin and Nicolas Ott, he operates as a southpaw. His career has been defined by a relentless, high-pressure approach that focuses on wrestling and technical grappling, allowing him to secure finishes in every one of his professional victories. Throughout his ascent from the European circuit to the global stage, he has accumulated notable triumphs over seasoned opponents like Beneil Dariush, Thiago Moisés, and Matt Frevola.

Entering this contest, Saint Denis holds a career record of 17-4-0 with one no-contest. He most recently suffered a technical submission defeat to Paddy Pimblett.
