Anthony Hernandez is an American mixed martial artist representing MMA Gold and Marinoble's Martial Arts. Competing in the middleweight division, the orthodox fighter turned professional in 2014 and previously earned the LFA Middleweight Championship. Throughout his tenure in the UFC, Hernandez has established himself through high-volume wrestling and grappling skills, setting a promotional record for the highest number of takedowns landed within his weight class. His resume includes significant victories over Rodolfo Vieira, Michel Pereira, and Roman Dolidze.
Entering this September 2026 event, the Californian maintains a career mark of 15-4-0 with one no-contest. He seeks to rebound from a pair of recent setbacks, having suffered a unanimous decision loss to Gregory Rodrigues in August 2026 and a technical knockout defeat against Sean Strickland earlier that February. Before those two losses, he enjoyed a three-fight winning streak.
