Canadian orthodox lightweight Kyle Prepolec, representing Maximum Training Centre, started his mixed martial arts career in 2008. Over the years, the well-rounded competitor utilized his diverse striking and grappling skills to capture several titles, including the SMMA lightweight title. "Kill Shot" earned notable victories against Michael Dufort and Marco Antonio Elpidio, establishing his knockout capabilities.

Entering UFC Fight Night: Fiziev vs. Torres with a 4-13-0 record, Prepolec looks to bounce back from recent setbacks. After putting together three consecutive stoppage victories from 2022 to 2024—including a knockout of Marco Antonio Elpidio and technical knockouts of Josh Henry and Gustavo Wurlitzer—the Canadian suffered back-to-back defeats in 2025. He was submitted by Benoît Saint Denis in May of that year and fell to Drew Dober via technical knockout in October.
