Originally from Kasumkent, Dagestan, Russian fighter Ikram Aliskerov trains out of the KHK MMA camp. Fighting from a southpaw stance, he transitioned to mixed martial arts after a highly successful career in combat sambo, during which he became a two-time European champion and a four-time world champion. He currently competes in the middleweight division of the promotion.
Entering UFC Fight Night: Fiziev vs. Torres with a 16-2-0 professional record, Aliskerov has won four of his last five bouts. Following 2023 stoppage victories over Phil Hawes and Warlley Alves, he suffered a knockout defeat against Robert Whittaker in June 2024. He rebounded with two consecutive wins in 2025, defeating André Muniz via technical knockout in April, followed by a unanimous decision triumph over Jun Yong Park in October.
