CODY GARBRANDT

An orthodox striker from Uhrichsville, Ohio, Cody Garbrandt represents Xtreme Couture in the UFC bantamweight division. The American fighter transitioned to professional mixed martial arts in 2012 following a strong amateur career. Renowned for his striking power, he captured the UFC Bantamweight Championship in December 2016 and holds notable victories over Dominick Cruz and Raphael Assunção.

Entering UFC Fight Night: Fiziev vs. Torres with a 9-5-0 record, Garbrandt recently secured a unanimous decision victory against Xiao Long in March 2026. This got him back on track after consecutive defeats, which included a decision loss to Raoni Barcelos and a submission defeat against Deiveson Figueiredo. Prior to those setbacks, he earned back-to-back 2023 wins, knocking out Brian Kelleher and defeating Trevin Jones.
