JAVID BASHARAT

Born in Afghanistan and representing England, Javid Basharat competes as a bantamweight out of the Xtreme Couture gym. His professional journey gained momentum following his time on the regional circuit, where he secured the CON Bantamweight Championship. He subsequently earned his opportunity within the premier global promotion by triumphing over Oron Kahlon during an appearance on Dana White's Contender Series. Establishing himself early in the organization, he rattled off three straight wins via unanimous decision against Trevin Jones, Tony Gravely, and Mateus Mendonça.

Entering the contest at UFC 302 with a career record of 14-1-0 and a single no-contest, Basharat looks to regain his momentum. His most recent appearance resulted in a unanimous decision loss to Aiemann Zahabi in March 2024. Prior to that setback, he recorded a no-contest result against Victor Henry caused by an unintentional strike to the groin in October 2023.
