Polish middleweight competitor Michał Oleksiejczuk, nicknamed "Hussar," prepares out of the Ankos MMA Poznań gym. An orthodox fighter with striking power and early knockout capability, he previously held the Thunderstrike Fight League light heavyweight championship before dropping down in weight. His notable achievements include stoppage victories over Cody Brundage and Chidi Njokuani.

Entering UFC 302, Oleksiejczuk holds a record of seven wins, four losses, and one no contest. Over his last five appearances, he suffered a unanimous decision defeat to Dustin Jacoby before securing consecutive punch-based stoppage wins against Sam Alvey and Cody Brundage. After a rear-naked choke submission loss to Caio Borralho, he rebounded in his most recent bout by defeating Chidi Njokuani with punches.
