FARID BASHARAT

Afghan-British bantamweight Farid Basharat competes from an orthodox stance and trains out of Xtreme Couture. Known as "Ferocious," the undefeated athlete began fighting professionally in 2018. He has established a style centered on his grappling skills, earning several victories via decisions and submissions.

Prior to UFC 302, Basharat amassed an unblemished 12-0 record. His recent run features a 2022 rear-naked choke submission of Raul Guzman followed by a decision over Allan Begosso. In 2023, he secured a decision against Da'Mon Blackshear and submitted Kleydson Rodrigues with an arm-triangle choke. He most recently clinched a unanimous decision victory over Taylor Lapilus in January 2024.
