CHRISTIAN EDWARDS

Christian Edwards arrives at this event having built his athletic reputation entirely on the football pitch rather than inside a cage. Born in Wales, he spent more than ten years competing as a professional defender across the English Football League. His playing tenure included stints with Swansea City, Bristol Rovers, and Nottingham Forest, alongside a solitary appearance for the Welsh national side. After concluding his time as a player, he moved into coaching roles, eventually managing Cardiff Metropolitan University within the Cymru Premier division.

Entering this contest at UFC 302: Makhachev vs. Poirier, the Welshman holds a professional fighting record of zero wins and zero losses. This appearance marks his debut in the sport, as he possesses no prior professional cage experience.
