Alexander Hernandez is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and professional mixed martial artist from the United States. He has competed in the lightweight and featherweight classes, notably winning the Hero FC Lightweight title before joining the major leagues. He first made a name for himself by swiftly knocking out Beneil Dariush upon his arrival. Since then, he has maintained his position in the rankings by regularly squaring off against top-tier competitors like Renato Moicano and Donald Cerrone at Factory X.
Currently, Hernandez holds a record of fourteen wins and eight losses. He heads into his upcoming fight coming off a difficult streak, having lost back-to-back decisions to Bill Algeo and Damon Jackson. Before these recent defeats, he earned a unanimous decision win over Jim Miller in early 2023, which followed consecutive losses to Renato Moicano and Billy Quarantillo.
