ALEX PEREIRA

Hailing from Brazil, Alex Pereira is a former kickboxer who competes in the UFC light heavyweight class. Training out of Teixeira MMA & Fitness, the orthodox fighter is celebrated for his powerful striking, particularly a dangerous left hook. Over his career, he secured the promotion's middleweight crown and became a two-time light heavyweight champion, while also boasting two kickboxing victories over Israel Adesanya.

Approaching UFC 302 with a 3-1-0 pre-event record, Pereira has accumulated three consecutive victories. This run began with a split decision win against Jan Blachowicz in July 2023. He followed this with a technical knockout victory using elbows against Jiri Prochazka, and most recently stopped Jamahal Hill with punches in April 2024.
