ABUSUPIYAN MAGOMEDOV

Born in Argun, Chechnya, Russian-German middleweight Abusupiyan Magomedov began wrestling as a child before moving to Germany at fifteen, where he added kickboxing to his training. Representing the UFD Gym, "Abus" built his career with successes in various promotions, including a win in the PFL playoffs. He eventually transitioned to the UFC, making an impact with a technical knockout victory over Dustin Stoltzfus in his promotional debut.

Entering UFC 302 with a pre-event record of 3-4-0, Magomedov has experienced mixed results in his recent outings. After his debut victory, he suffered a technical knockout loss to Sean Strickland and a decision defeat against Caio Borralho. However, he rebounded in his most recent match on May 18, 2024, securing a unanimous decision win over Warlley Alves.
