IGNACIO BAHAMONDES

Ignacio Bahamondes is a Chilean lightweight competitor who transitioned to the United States at sixteen to pursue training at Valle Flow Striking. His foundation stems from a background in kickboxing. Before joining the UFC, he established himself as the inaugural champion of the LUX Fight League lightweight division. He secured his opportunity to compete for the organization by landing a knockout victory in the second round during a 2020 appearance on Dana White's Contender Series.

Heading into his upcoming contest, the fighter holds an overall professional record of 14-5-0. His most recent outing resulted in a unanimous decision defeat against Ludovit Klein in August 2023. Prior to that setback, he achieved a unanimous decision win over Trey Ogden, a brabo choke submission against Rong Zhu, and a highlight knockout of Roosevelt Roberts. He also dropped a split decision to John Makdessi earlier in his tenure.
