CHAN SUNG JUNG

Hailing from South Korea, Chan Sung Jung developed his reputation as an aggressive, durable competitor while rising through the WEC and UFC ranks. Operating out of both Korean Zombie MMA and Fight Ready, the orthodox featherweight became a fixture of high-intensity bouts, twice earning opportunities to compete for the division’s championship. His career featured several high-profile finishes, most notably a rare twister submission against Leonard Garcia, alongside a track record of exciting performances throughout his lengthy tenure.

Entering the UFC 330 card, the veteran held a professional record of 17-8-0. His recent activity included a knockout loss to Max Holloway in August 2023 and a technical knockout defeat against Alexander Volkanovski. Prior to those setbacks, he earned a unanimous decision victory over Dan Ige, followed a loss to Brian Ortega, and secured a technical knockout win versus Frankie Edgar.
