Hailing from China, Liu Ce represents the Tangshan Buntai Riding Fight Club. Before entering the professional mixed martial arts landscape, he built a strong foundation in kickboxing and Sanda. His combat background includes a major victory at the 2023 K-1 30th Anniversary Openweight Tournament. Competing as an orthodox fighter in the light heavyweight division, he officially transitioned into professional MMA during 2023.

Liu enters the UFC 329 stage maintaining an unblemished professional record of 2-0-0. He arrives with momentum following two consecutive knockout victories earlier in the year. In June 2023, he secured a win over Batjargal Munkh-Erdene using his punches. Just prior to that performance in May 2023, he stopped Yu Haiming with a combination involving a head kick and strikes.
