Miesha Tate is an American professional mixed martial artist born in Tacoma, Washington. She began her MMA career in 2007 and competes in the Bantamweight division of the UFC. Tate is a former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion and also held the Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Championship. Known for her grappling skills and submission wrestling, she has secured notable victories in her career, including wins against Holly Holm and Marloes Coenen.
