KYOJI HORIGUCHI

Hailing from Japan, Kyoji Horiguchi developed his combat base in Shotokan Karate before joining American Top Team. Throughout a decorated career spanning several major global organizations, he became a Shooto bantamweight titlist and a Rizin Grand Prix tournament victor. The versatile athlete also secured championship honors in both Rizin and Bellator while previously contending for the flyweight belt during his tenure with the UFC. His professional reputation remains defined by high speed, polished striking, and a consistent capacity to finish opponents.

Entering this October 2023 engagement, Horiguchi holds a career mark of 31 victories, five defeats, and one no-contest. His recent activity features an accidental eye poke leading to a no-contest against Makoto Takahashi. Before that, he earned consecutive wins over Hiromasa Ougikubo and Yuto Hokamura. These followed two losses against Patchy Mix and Sergio Pettis.
