KAI KAMAKA III

American orthodox competitor Kai Kamaka III, representing Ewa Beach, Hawaii, established his fighting style through childhood wrestling, which led to a high school state title and a university scholarship. Preparing at 808 Fight Factory and Xtreme Couture, he currently fights in the lightweight category after previous runs at bantamweight and featherweight. Along his journey, he earned notable victories against Tony Kelley and Dakota Hope.

Entering his matchup at UFC 329 with a professional record of 12-5-1, Kamaka has won four of his last five appearances. After securing a unanimous decision against John de Jesus, he suffered a split decision loss to Justin Gonzales. Since then, he has put together a three-fight winning streak, defeating Kevin Boehm by technical knockout, Adli Edwards by unanimous decision, and most recently, Henry Corrales via split decision.
