JOHN GARZA

American competitor John Garza was born in Herlong, California. Prior to his athletic endeavors, he established a background in real estate and housing housing development. He also served as a Texas State Representative representing District 117 from January 2011 until January 2013. His legislative work focused on property tax reform and election integrity, helping him earn the Freshman Legislator of the Year distinction from the Hispanic Republican Conference in 2011.
