The Cebu City-born featherweight began his professional career in 2017 after refining his talents at San Francisco’s El Niño Training Center. During his early development, he honed his craft by competing in multiple regional promotions, such as Legacy Fighting Alliance and Bellator MMA. By the time he reached the sport’s highest level, he had already built a flawless 7-0 record.
Currently standing at 8-0-0 as he approaches UFC 329, the fighter remains undefeated. His latest triumph came in August 2023 when he defeated Emrah Sonmez by unanimous decision. This victory added to an impressive run that includes a TKO win over Chase Gibson, a split decision victory against Devante Sewell, a striking-based finish of Robson Junior, and a judges' decision win over Ignacio Ortiz.
