CONOR MCGREGOR

Irish athlete Conor McGregor began his professional mixed martial arts career in 2008. Training under the guidance of John Kavanagh at SBG Ireland, the southpaw competitor is known for his counter-striking skills. McGregor made history in the UFC as the first fighter to concurrently hold both the featherweight and lightweight championship titles. His rise included a notable lightweight title victory over Eddie Alvarez.

Heading into UFC 329, McGregor holds a pre-event record of 16-6-0. His recent outings began with a submission defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov via a neck crank, followed by a technical knockout victory over Donald Cerrone using a head kick and punches. Since then, he has dropped consecutive bouts to Dustin Poirier, losing first by punches and then by a doctor stoppage.
